Today sees the launch of a new lifestyle magazine called In The Know. It features an article by us on buying ethical wood products.
In The Know is a quarterly magazine aimed at those aged 18-44 living in the Shrewsbury area and contains ‘interesting and informal stories from experts in their field’.
Our article, How to buy wood products that don’t cost the earth, highlights the problem of the illegal timber trade and how this can be tackled by buying products from responsibly managed forests.
At Oliver Gibbs Carpentry & Joinery we only buy timber that is certified by organisations like the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). That means you can get great wood products for your home that didn’t cost someone theirs.
In The Know will be distributed by the Shrewsbury Chronicle. Look out for our piece on page 40 of issue one.
